The "Internet + Customs" platform applied by Dalian Customs

On March 2, the Dalian Branch of Tianjin Taida Alps Logistics Co., Ltd. submitted an application regarding the examination of information of temporary import and export goods to Airport Customs House, a subordinated office of Dalian Customs District, via “Internet + Customs” online service platform. Five minutes later, the company received confirmation from the Customs. This is the first online service provided by Dalian Customs since it was mandated by the General Administration of Customs to pilot an “Internet + Customs” platform.

The "Internet + Customs" platform is an integrated platform launched by the General Administration of Customs, which classifies and integrates such services as pre-declaration information input, export rebates, administrative approval, intellectual property rights registration and 12360 hotline consultation, thus saving enterprises the troubles of submitting the same data, both online and offline, to different port management authorities.

According to a deputy director of Tianjin Taida Alps Logistics Co., their staff can now complete customs formalities on the platform online, which not only improves work efficiency but also saves considerable labor and transport cost.
