Customs Nets 8284 Infringing Network Cables

Gongbei Customs District detained 8,284 network cables on April 23, acting on the request of the right holder. When exercising control over the network cables that day, customs officers found the goods carrying the “UL” mark.The items seized were confirmed later by the right holder as infringing ones.

Changchun Customs Destroys Contraband Audio-Video Products

Following the directions given by the Office on Cracking Down on Pornography and Illegal Publications of Jilin Province, Changchun Customs District took part in an activity a few days ago in which the infringing items, counterfeits and illegal publications seized in this year were destroyed. In this event with the theme of “Say No to Counterfeits, Embrace the Dream”, the customs administration had 67,020 contraband audio-video products destroyed.

Officers of Xiamen Customs District said they had seized an “overseas wastes” smuggling case in which 120 discarded printers, 133 copying machines and some used computers were intercepted.

Gongbei Customs Seized Some 140,000 Infringing Items

Officers of Doumen Customs House (affiliated to Gongbei Customs District) said they had broken a case involving the infringement of the intellectual property rights of Audery (a famous Taiwan brand). 146,865 infringing items with a value of HKD721, 000 were seized in the case, said customs officers.

NanTong Customs Provides Door-to-door Services

Nantong Customs House (affiliated to Nanjing Customs District) provided door-to-door service to Jiangsu Hengke New Material Co., Ltd.. Customs officers came to the enterprise and released 38 containers’ goods at the venue.
