On June 17，Minister SHENG Guangzu attended activities of high-level delegation headed by President HU Jingtao in Moscow. At noon, Minister SHENG presented at the China-Russia bilateral documents signing ceremony in the Kremlin, and with the witness of President HU and President Medvedev of Russia Federation, signed Protocol of “Agreement between Government of People’s Republic of China and Government of Russia Federation on establishing a Mechanism and Organization Principle of China-Russia Premier Regular Meeting” on June 27 of 1997 with Mr. Chaika, Deputy Head of Russia Customs Service. Signing this protocol symbolizes the Customs Cooperation Sub-committee of China-Russia Premier Regular Meeting committee has officially established, and also indicates that China-Russia Customs cooperation has stepped up to a new higher level.
