On September 13, officers sent by Guangzhou Customs District started to work in the Materials Clearance Service Center for the 16th Asian Games in Pazhou International Exhibition Center. From this day on, Customs officers would be here to provide one-stop services for materials entering for the Games, which include examining and approving duty reduction or exemption, Customs control services, consultation services and IPR protection services.

According to the statistics, by August 31, Guangzhou Customs District had released 65 consignments of Games-related materials valued at USD 4.808 million.
