A Thousand Pieces of Clothing Infringing PLAYBOY’ Trademark Seized

Recently, Jiuzhou Customs House (under Gongbei Customs District) seized 1010 pieces of clothing that likely have infringed the PLAYBOY trademark. The case is now under further investigation.
On 15 September 2008, a garment company declared at Jiu Zhou Customs House for exportation 5296 pieces of clothing bearing the trademark of PLAYBOY. Customs officers detained 1010 pieces of infringing items after getting the initial confirmation from the trademark owner’s intellectual property rights agent in China. This is the 6th case involving the infringement of trademarks that Jiuzhou Customs House has seized by far this year.
