Recently, the world’s two leading delivery services company DHL and TNT singed with Hangzhou Customs District a memorandum respectively in which they undertook to enhance the management of the express mails and parcels.
The market share of DHL and TNT stands at 60% in Zhejiang province. According to the memorandum, customs will provide preferential clearance services to these two enterprises given that no contrabands will be delivered.
In October, Hangzhou Customs District has signed memoranda with 4 domestic mail delivery companies, taking the lead in implementing the requirement of the General Administration of Customs that Customs Districts throughout the country should enhance the control over express mails by signing memoranda with enterprises with credibility |
