China Customs Wins the Prize for Outstanding Achievement in IPR Protection

China Customs was awarded the Prize for Outstanding Achievement in IPR Protection in China by The Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (hereafter referred to as QBPC) QBPC was established in March 2000.Its 182 member companies have invested more than US$ 70 billion in China. QBPC started to hold the event to select the “10 Best Cases of IPR Protection” in 2002, which later became a recognized activity on IPR protection.
The prize for Outstanding Achievement in IPR is a new one. The winning of this prize shows that China Customs’ work on IPR protection is fully acknowledged by the right holders.
Through listening carefully to and working closely with the right holders, China Customs has successfully reinforced Customs’ role in national IPR protection. Customs enforcement becomes more efficient, transparent and civilized. QBPC said on several occasions that the rectitude, professionalism and high efficiency of China Customs have impressed the member companies deeply. China Customs is the only one of the government agencies that has been elected as the “most efficient law enforcement agency” for 5 consecutive years.
