2011-08-02

Officers of Haicang Customs Office (affiliated to Xiamen Customs District) said they had seized 148264 pairs of counterfeit slippers. This is the biggest infringing-shoe case they have seized by far this year. These counterfeits involved two international well-known brands, of which 101800 pairs carried the logo of “QUIKSILVER” and 46464 pairs carried the “ROXY” logo. The trademark right holders confirmed the products as infringing ones and applied for Customs protection of intellectual property rights. The infringing goods have been detained by the Customs administration according to law.
