Fuzhou Customs Seized the Biggest Case of Infringing Food (with photo)

Recently, officers of Fuzhou Customs District seized the biggest food infringement case in recent years. 45,500 bags of infringing rice flour were intercepted.

Officers detected 45,500 bags of rice flour with the trademark of “Changqing”, weighed at 16.38 tons totally, when inspecting a consignment to Mexico declared by an import and export corporation in Fujian Province. Officers found that this trademark had been put on record with the General Administration of Customs of China. Its owner, Jiangxi Provincial State-owned Asset Management (Holding) Co., Ltd, confirmed that all these rice flour are infringing ones. This batch of goods has been detained by Fuzhou Customs. It’s a foodstuff infringement case involving the largest value seized by Fuzhou Customs in recent years.
