GACC Approval of General Bond

The GACC shall notify the applicant of the approval of the general bond application submitted by the IPR holder. The general bond application shall come into force as of the date of approval by the GACC.

Circular of the General Administration of Customs on the Approval of the Application of xx Company for Providing a General bond for Customs IPR Enforcement

XXX Company,

We have received your application materials for a general bond for the 2010 Customs IPR Enforcement (No.: LGC123456789).

Upon examination, the aforesaid application materials you submitted meet the provisions of the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs (2006) No. 31, we decide to approve your application. From the date of approval to December 31, 2010, you are not required to provide a separate bond when you, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Customs Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, request the Customs at the place of entry/exit to take ex officio Customs IPR enforcement against the goods suspected of infringing your exclusive right to use trademark. You shall pay the relevant storage and disposal fees incurred during the aforesaid period or compensate the consignee/consignor for the losses caused by inappropriate application, or shall bear the civil liability for compensation in accordance with the law.
