On February 2, Mr. Huang Shengqiang, Head of National Port Administration Office of the General Administration of Customs of China hosted the First Port Leaders’ Meeting of China, Russia and Mongolia in Beijing. To materialize the Framework Agreement on the Development of China-Russia-Mongolia Border Port Cooperation, the three parties reached broad consensus through in-depth discussion on cooperative mechanisms, joint research of border ports, exchange of policy information and other issues, which has produced positive outcomes. All parties agreed upon the significance of establishing and strengthening port cooperation among the three countries to the development of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor.
Before the meeting, Mr. Huang met respectively with Mr. Borodin Yury,Deputy Head of Federal Agency for the Development of the State Border Facilities of Russian Federation and Mr. BEKHBAT, Deputy Head of Customs and Tax Service of Mongolia, and had exchanges with his counterparts on the cooperation affairs with common concerns.
