Minister Ni Yuefeng and Mongolian Customs Director General Signed Customs Cooperation MOU Under the Witness of the Prime Ministers of the Two Countries

On April 9, under the witness of the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his Mongolian counterpart Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Mr. Ni Yuefeng, Minister of the General Administration of Customs of China, and Mr. Batbold Asralt, Director General of the Customs General Administration of Mongolia, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Combating Smuggling between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Customs General Administration of Mongolia at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

 

The MOU specifies that both sides shall work together to prevent, investigate and combat smuggling of goods and illegal items including combating against such criminal activities as commercial frauds and smuggling of narcotics, solid wastes and weaponry.
