On October 18, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen attended and addressed the second International Petroleum and Natural Gas Enterprises Conference (“IPEC 2018”) held in the city of Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province.

According to Vice Minister Zhang, China Customs highly values Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone and has provided numerous supporting measures for the FTZ. For example, among the 46 innovative measures formulated to facilitate the trade in petroleum and other staple commodities, 20 ones are tailored for this FTZ. And local Customs has gained replicable experiences through field practice. At the national port work meeting held recently, the GACC put forward definite requirements for domestic ports to cut down clearance cost, time and approval items so as to further improve China’s business environment and cross-border trade facilitation.
