With regard to departure tax refund scheme for overseas visitors, the Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in accordance with the relevant stipulations of Announcement of the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China on Implementation of Departure Tax Refund on Purchases Made by Overseas Visitors, Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on Customs Supervision over Departure Tax Refund on Purchases Made by Overseas Visitors, and Announcement of the State Administration of Taxation of the People’s Republic of China on Measures of Departure Tax Refund on Purchases Made by Overseas Visitors, has applied for record-keeping to the above-mentioned administrations. After being examined, the application was approved.
