Minister Yu Guangzhou and Vice Minister Sun Yibiao Meet Chairman of the Commission of National Revenue of Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan

On August 31, Minister Yu Guangzhou and Vice Minister Sun Yibiao met with Mr.Yergozhin Daulet, Chairman of the Commission of National Revenue of Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Beijing.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views and reached consensus on a series of issues, including the current trade status between China and Kazakhstan, the “Trust” program cooperation, expanding the “Green Channel” pilot project for agricultural products, combating smuggling at the border port and enhancing the infrastructure on the border. The two sides reached consensus on the following issues: Firstly，to launch the pilot “Trust” program in 2015. Secondly, to expand the “Green Channel” pilot project at selected ports as soon as possible. Thirdly, to cooperate with the business circle and enhance publicity of customs policies and regulations. Fourthly, to speed up the building of Khorgos- Nur Zholy Road port and complete the project before the end of 2015.

Minister Yu made three proposals on strengthening the cooperation between the two Customs. Firstly，to promote the cooperation on the construction of the “Silk Road Economic Belt”. Secondly, to jointly implement the China-Kazakhstan Port and Customs Cooperation Plan 2015. Thirdly, to make strategic planning to deliver outcomes regarding port and Customs cooperation.

Mr.Yergozhin Daulet made positive responses to the three proposals.
