In Hangzhou Customs District, 129.95 tons of solid waste was all returned abroad by Taizhou Customs House on October 13. 

Earlier, when the waste was inspected as per their declaration of waste copper cables, customs officers found them containing 114.45 tons of waste computer and electrical/electronic products that are prohibited from import, accounting for 88.1% of the total.

Because the inbound waste was not compliant with China’s environmental standards for import solid waste usable as raw materials, the Customs conducted their return in full batch.
