12/27/2018

On December 19, 2018, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen signed in Beijing with Mr. Cocarico, Minister of Rural Development and Land of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Soybean from Bolivia to China, which means that Bolivian soybean can now be exported to China. Bolivia is one of the main soybean producers in South America. China’s granting access to Bolivian soybean will not only enhance the agricultural trade between the two countries, but also diversify China’s soybean import sources so as to satisfy its domestic demand.
