Customs officers inspect the exhibits of “RENAISSANCE MASTERS".

On December 5, officers from Jinling Customs House (subordinate to Nanjing Customs District) were stationed in the special exhibition gallery of Nanjing Museum to inspect the inbound artworks that were exhibited for the first time in Nanjing in the theme of “RENAISSANCE MASTERS: THE ART OF LEONARDO DA VINCI, MICHELANGELO AND RAFFAELLO”.

This exhibition showcased 68 pieces/sets of oil paintings, block prints, sculptures and drawings originally made by the three masters—Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raffaello. These artworks, totaling 1,817 million Yuan in value, were earlier transited by highway from Tianjin Customs to Nanjing Customs and, on their arrival, were put under the field control of Jinling Customs officers to ensure the exhibition as scheduled.
