Shanghai Customs Helps Business-Jet Exhibition by “Extending Control to the Airport Apron”
04/25/2016

During April 12-14, 2016, Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition was held in Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Center at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Customs House (affiliated to Shanghai Customs District) conducted clearance operation for inward exhibit aircrafts.

It was the fifth Asian business aviation exhibition since 2012. Many business jets directly flew to the exhibition from abroad, and Dassault Falcon 8X was on the show for the first time. This exhibition drew many international well-known business-jet manufacturers like Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, and Dassault with over 30 planes, 9 of them directly flying from abroad.

Due to intensive time of entry and higher requirements for aircraft control and clearance efficiency, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Customs extended their control to the airport apron, providing 24-hours services for inbound planes, and finally finished inspection aboard in time.
