On February 9, in Auckland, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao headed a delegation to visit New Zealand Customs. Vice Minister Sun held a bilateral meeting with Ms Carolyn Tremain, Minister for New Zealand Customs and conveyed Minister Yu Guangzhou’s regards to her.

Both sides highly appreciated the relationship of the two countries and the cooperation between the two Customs and exchanged the views on the implementation of China-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement, the building of net working system, anti-smuggling of drug and precursor chemicals and the cooperation of anti-smuggling dogs.

Vice Minister Sun also held a bilateral meeting with Ms.Carolyn Tremain, Comptroller and Mr. Bill Perry, Deputy Comptroller of New Zealand Customs Service, and paid a visit to its anti-smuggling dog base and airport cargo inspection centre, learning about the training of anti-smuggling dog and customs supervision on air cargos.
