"Date of Declaration" refers to the date on which the Customs accept a declaration made by a consignee/consignor or customs broker for import/export goods.. Where the declaration is made in an electronic form, the date of declaration is the date recorded by the Customs' computer system when accepting the declaration. Where the declaration is made in a paper form, the date of declaration is the date on which the Customs accept and register the paper declaration form.
