On September 25, 6.5 tons of live King Crabs from Russia arrived at Dagang No. 6 wharf, Qingdao port; after inspecting the goods, Customs officers made the clearance so fast that, less than half an hour later, the live crabs were all released from the wharf to local seafood markets.

With the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival both upcoming, Qingdao has seen soaring imports of fresh goods. Therefore, Dagang Customs House provided a fast track for such imports, including reservation service, to minimize the clearance duration, making the imported food freshly on local consumers’ dining-tables.
