The mode of “Sea Transport Price with Air Transport Speed” has vitalized Qingdao imports by sea on cross-border e-commerce. In March 2015, China’s first channel for cross-border e-commerce import by sea was opened in Qingdao International Land Port Bonded Logistics Center. Till the end of November 2016, Qingdao Customs District has through the Logistics Center released over 200,000 consignments of cross-border e-commerce goods transported by sea, worth more than 42 million yuan; the released goods covered food, apparel, shoes, maternal and baby supplies, stationery, and toys from more than 10 countries including the United States, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
