Recently in Qingdao Customs District, when 40 tanks of liquefied natural gas (LNG) were imported by ship into the port of Longkou, customs officers immediately conducted health quarantine and cargo inspection aboard, clearing the import gas without delay to ensure timely domestic consumption.   

To facilitate the first import of LNG into Longkou in 2020, Longkou Customs House surveyed the ship berth and made a control plan in advance; as per tailor-made procedures, they real-timely monitored the inspection process on each tank of LNG and achieved fast clearance.  

According to the Customs House, in the mode of direct pickup, the imported gas was unloaded from the ship directly to trucks and then transited to local storage without delay.
