During October 16-18, “The 8th China (Weihai) Fishing Gear Manufacturing Center Expo” was held in Weihai City, Shandong Province. Weihai Customs House (affiliated to Qingdao Customs District) offered onsite services for domestic and foreign exhibitors, by providing clearance guidance/consultation, publicity materials distributing, green channels at all control points for faster clearance, and assigning special officers to guide independent-brand holders to intellectual property rights protection, along with publicity of China Customs measures on IPR protection. During the Expo, the Customs House distributed 350 sets of publicity materials and provided 42 person-time of clearance consultation.
