Another new progress has been made in the three mutualsIntegrated Clearance of Waterway Port in Dongguan City.

On July 15, international ship Dongyue, by means of electronic declaration, finished entry formalities at Shatian Customs Office of Huangpu Customs District, which formally announced the achievement of Paperless Clearance for incoming and outgoing international ships. Based on earlier one-off record and declaration formalities, this reform further focuses on electronic verification allowing enterprises to undertake entry and exit declaration formalities for international ships at home.

According to Linhai, Section Chief of Logistics Supervision from Shatian Customs Office, since  the three mutualsIntegrated Clearance was launched at the Waterway Port, local Customs has innovated working mechanisms to firmly push forward the three mutuals, among which Paperless Clearance Model for entry and exit international ships is one of the important part.

After the reform, one staff is enough to deal with the formalities for one ship, saving a lot of labors, materials and time for my company,” said an employee from China Marine Shipping Agency Guangdong Co., Ltd. in Dongguan Point.

Through simplified examination process and formalities, based on existing computer systems and Humen Port Clearance Information Platform, paper declaration is changed to electronic one so as to enable Customs officers to work online. This move has simplified customs declaration, improved clearance efficiency and reduced enterprises cost.

Jiao Yibing, Deputy Director of Shatian Customs Office, indicated that the Paperless Administration for Incoming and Outgoing international ships is part of the Clearance Operation Reform carried out by Huangpu Customs District. The Customs will, through system and technical innovations, provide more favorable policies to facilitate clearance for enterprises.
