Dalian Customs Seizes over 2,600 Undeclared Succulent Plants

On February 22, Dalian Gangwan Customs House (affiliated to Dalian Customs) seized over 2,600 succulent plants in a suspected car.

 

On that day, when the Customs officers conducted a routine inspection over the liner berth area where the China-South Korea liner, Biryong was berthed, they discovered a suspected car and seized six bags of succulent plants from within it. Upon investigation, the Customs officers found out that the car owner, a tally companys worker, illegally carried 60 kilograms of Dongting and Hongzhua (Chinese names of the succulents) inward without declaration, with a total value of nearly 208,000 yuan.

 

 

Over 2,600 succulent plants were seized.

 


 

 Dalian Customs officers were counting the seized succulent plants.
