On June 20, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen met with Mr. David MacLennan, Chairperson and CEO of Cargill, USA, in Beijing, China.

Vice Minister Zhang applauded Cargill as a trustworthy and responsible corporation and appreciated its value of “nourishing the world”. Zhang also said that he hopes Cargill will continue to play a positive role in boosting China-USA bilateral trade.

The two sides reached consensus on future cooperation.
