On February 10, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao headed a delegation to visit Fiji, and held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Jitoko Tikolevu, Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Revenue And Customs Authority in Suva, the capital of Fiji.

Both sides highly appreciated the development of the relationship between the two countries. Vice Minister Sun gave a brief introduction of China Customs and made the proposals on strengthening cooperation. Firstly, to establish the mechanism of exchanges and cooperation on ministerial level and working staff level. Secondly, to discuss and sign the mutual executive assistance agreement to promote enforcement cooperation. Thirdly, to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation on capacity building. Fourthly, to conduct exchanges and cooperation on supervising equipment application.

Mr. Tikolevu approved of Vice Minister Sun's proposals.

On that day, accompanied by Mr. Tikolevu, Vice Minister Sun paid a visit to the headquarters of the Oceania Customs Organization (OCO) and met with Mr. Allwyn Netto, Director of the Secretariat of the OCO. The two sides exchanged views on the fund of China Customs capacity building.
