Recently, General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation and State Administration of Foreign Exchange have jointly approved establishment of Qinghai Caojiapu Bonded Logistics Center (Type B). The first Customs-controlled bonded area in Qinghai Province is another important platform for Qinghai’s open economic development, and it is significant for improvement of Qinghai’s opening-up standard.
Reportedly, the bonded logistics center (type B) with customs approval is a Customs supervised place engaging in bonded warehousing and logistics services, which is run by one business entity inChinaand stationed by a number of enterprises. The bonded logistics center can enable international goods entry into bonded warehouses of the logistics center, domestic goods entry into the logistics center for export drawback, and bonded goods can be circulated freely among logistics centers.
Qinghai Caojiapu Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), having convenient railway and road transportation, obvious geographical advantage and approved construction area of0.073km2, is situated inHaidongIndustrial Parkand close toXiningAirport. After completion of construction, the bonded logistics center will mainly engage in bonded warehousing, international transfer, international distribution, international procurement, value-added processing, product exhibition, export drawback and other services based on Qinghai’s unique resources and industrial bases. It will help Qinghai receive industrial transfers from home and abroad, gather featured advantageous industries and strategic emerging industries to lead, drive, radiate and serve the export-oriented economic development in the entire province and surrounding regions.
Since the launch of construction of the center, Xining Customs District has been actively striving for policy supports from the General Administration of Customs and other ministries, vigorously assisting related departments in improving construction plans and providing all-round policy guidance and advice for construction contractors. Now, the bonded logistics center is accelerating the construction of bonded warehouses, inspection venues, seines, check points, intelligent information facilities, service hall and other infrastructures to lay a solid foundation for formal acceptance and operation.
