Customs officers inspect the IPR-infringing wristwatches.

Recently in Qingdao Customs District, a number of wristwatches infringing intellectual property right (IPR) were seized at cross-border e-commerce control site of Rizhao Customs House.

Through unpacking inspection of an outbound parcel, customs officers found that 16 wristwatches with such trademarks as “ROLEX” and “AUDEMARS PIGUET” were all inferior in workmanship, and then confirmed them to be infringing on relevant IPRs.

Now, these infringing wristwatches are detained under further investigation by the Customs.
