On February 14, in a chartered flight from Billund Airport of Denmark landing at Longjia International Airport of Changchun, 15,000 breeding martens from Denmark safely arrived in Jilin province. After Customs clearance through the Airport, this batch of martens, introduced for a poverty alleviation project, was directly transited to a breeding base of Jilin Changbai Mountains Marten Company.
It was the first time for the martens to enter by chartered flight. As the live animals were in a large quantity, demanding efficient clearance without delay in customs procedures, Changchun Customs in advance guided the Company to cooperate; made customized inspection plan and emergency plan; assigned responsible officers for inspection; set up a special declaration window and a fast channel and coordinated with the port CIQ units; meanwhile enabled the Airport Customs House and Yanji Customs House to interactively work, with the Airport officers conducting port-based declaration and inspection and Yanji offices conducting field inspection in the Company. As a result, the series of measures achieved high-efficient clearance of the imported martens.
Customs officers were inspecting on the plane.
Customs officers were monitoring the unloading.
