On August 25, Minister Yu Guangzhou attended the 7th Meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee in Beijing. The meeting was co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and Chairman of the Chinese side of the committee, and Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Chairman of the Kazakhstan side.
The committee spoke highly of the port and Customs cooperation between the two countries and reached consensus on expanding pilot project of “Green Channel” for agricultural products, accelerating the building of Khorgos-Nur Zholy Road port, and promoting the “Trust” program. An agreed minutes was signed after the meeting.
Mr.G. Amrin, Vice Chairman of the Commission of National Revenue of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan attended the meeting.
