On June 17, Mr. Huang Shengqiang, Head of National Office of Port Administration, met with Commissioner General of Uganda Revenue Authority in Kampala, Uganda, and exchanged views on enhancing Customs cooperation between the two countries.

On the same day, a bilateral talk was held between Mr. Huang and Commissioner of Uganda Customs, during which both sides reviewed progress in customs cooperation and agreed to increase experience-sharing on port administration, customs special control area and the application of information technology, to accelerate the negotiation of the MOU on mutual administrative assistance, and to strengthen collaboration in capacity building and trade facilitation, as well as coordination on the World Customs Organization affairs.

Mr. Huang also visited the transit cargo monitoring center and bonded warehouses of Kampala Customs.
