On September 3, Minister Yu Guangzhou and Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu met with Mr. Beliyaninov, Head of Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Strukov Andrei, Deputy Head of Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in Beijing.
The two sides discussed the current economic and trade status between China and Russia, spoke highly of the Customs cooperation between the two countries, and reached consensus on the following issues: Firstly, to co-chair the 7th Meeting of Sub-Committee of Customs Cooperation and prepare for the regular meeting of China-Russia Prime Ministers and the meeting of Committee of China-Russia Prime Ministers’ Regular Meeting. Secondly, to implement the China-Russian Customs Cooperation Plan 2015 in order to consolidate the cooperation. Thirdly, to make joint efforts to implement the Customs cooperation document signed by China, Mongolia and Russia in Ufa, Russia in July and the two documents signed this time. Fourthly, to push forward major programs such as the “Green Channel” and mutual recognition of customs control between the two countries so as to promote trade facilitation. Fifthly, to strengthen the early warning cooperation on bilateral trade statistics and analyze the trend of key commodities’ prices. Sixthly, to enhance the customs cooperation on information technology, customs revenue and exchanges between customs college. Seventhly, to effectively cooperate with the business and hear out their comments and suggestions on customs and bilateral trade. Eighthly, to strengthen customs cooperation under the framework of BRICKS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
