Ice seized in “Violet Light

A big drug trafficking case was intercepted in the special anti-drug operation codenamed “Violet Light”,announced Shenzhen Customs District a few days ago.

Shenzhen Customs District mounted an operation together with Hong Kong Customs, Australian Federal Police and New Zealand Customs after a two-month long careful investigation. Officers smashed a big transnational smuggling group on the morning of January 28, seized 106 kilograms of Ice and arrested 3 Hong Kong suspects and 4 suspects from one certain country in South-east Asia.

This is the biggest drug trafficking case that Shenzhen Customs District has seized in cargo control on sea in the past 5 years.
