On July 5^th, Minister Yu Guangzhou of the General Administration of Customs of China, chaired the Meeting of BRICS Customs Cooperation Committee in Brussels, Belgium.

The meeting adopted the Strategic Framework of BRICS Customs Cooperation. Views were exchanged on such issues of common concern as the negotiation of the BRICS Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement.

After the meeting, the heads of BRICS Customs delegations signed the Executive Summary of the Meeting. On the same day, Minister Yu also met with Ambassador Yang Yanyi of China’s Mission to the European Union.
