Customs officers inspect the imported chemical fertilizers.

On February 13, when the seaport of Lianyungang received 50,300 tons of potash fertilizer from Israel, Lianyungang Customs House (subordinate to Nanjing Customs District) immediately made expedite clearance for the import by using the green channel for agricultural materials.   

As the preparation for spring plowing has begun in China, regarding the import of chemical fertilizers, Lianyungang Customs has been carrying out the reformative measures such as declaration on “Single Window” platform, “self-declaration and payment of duties”, integrated aggregate taxation and electronic payment, as well as the facilitating measures such as prior clearance, simplified inspection, and ship-side release of goods, so as to raise the clearance speed and reduce enterprise cost, ensuring the fastest supply for spring plowing operation.
