Recently, Customs officers headed by Deng Maihong, Section Chief of Customs Section at Shawan Jewelry Park (in Guangzhou Customs District), visited jewelry processing trade firms to answer questions, gave suggestions and explained clearance measures on the site.

“Small and micro jewelry businesses, as the energy of jewelry industry, have created many jobs for Panyu County. This winter, we will not only serve big jewelry businesses but also take more efforts to help small and micro ones. This is our action to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation among the masses,” said Deng.

To support the small and micro businesses, Panyu Customs House  (affiliated to Guangzhou Customs District) has carried out “one-stop” mechanism for quickest customs clearance, providing whole-course services including customs consultation, declaration, transfer and release. Besides, because small-micro enterprises’ orders are usually time-urgent in shorter delivery cycle, the Customs also offered reservation service for clearance, overtime work, to ensure jewelry release on the date of declaration.

“As the fourth quarter is traditional season for jewelry industry, good clearance environment in Panyu Customs facilitates our win over business opportunities, making us confident in getting both domestic and foreign orders.
