On January 8, officers of Yiwu Customs House (affiliated to Hangzhou Customs District) seized 1,048 infringing household appliances while exercising control over a consignment of goods declared as “irons and pallets”. Among the products seized, there were 160 juicers and 400 irons which infringed upon the intellectual property rights of PHILIPS and another 48 juicers and 400 irons were fake Panasonic products.
