Vice Minister Wang Lingjun and Mr. Arkashev, Director General of the State Quarantine Inspection of Uzbekistan, signed the protocal under the witness of Minister Ni Yuefeng and Mr. Otazhonov, Vice Premier of Uzbekistan.

Minister Ni Yuefeng attended the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on November 5, meeting with foreign officials there and signing cooperative arrangements with them.
　　
Minister Ni met with Mr. Luis Santos, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Portugal. Both sides exchanged views on Portuguese meat and fruits exported to China and signed the MOU on Plant Quarantine Cooperation between China and Portugal.

Minister Ni met with Mr. Maggi, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil, and held talks on export of Chinese pears to Brazil, China-Brazilian cooperation on seafood, export of Brazilian melons, and Brazilian meat establishment registration in China.

Minister Ni also met with Mr. Nin Novoa, Minister of Foreign Relations of Uruguay and talked about the export of Uruguayan meat products and honey to China, Uruguayan meat establishment registration, and China-Uruguay AEO cooperation.

On November 6, Minister Ni Yuefeng met in Shanghai with Mr. Umirzak Shukeyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, talking about the restoration of Chinese poultry export to Kazakhstan, Chinese duck meat export to Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan beef establishment registration, Kazakhstan animal disease ban-lifting, the export of Kazakhstan pork, chilled beef and mutton, horse milk powder, and camel milk, and China-Kazakhstan “single window” cooperation. Ni and Shukeyev then signed the roadmap of Kazakhstan agricultural exports to China.

Minister Ni met with Mr. Kadis, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of Cyprus, discussing on Cyprus export of dairy products, processed potatoes and cultured fish products to China and food certification required by China. The two ministers also signed a cooperative arrangement.

Minister Ni also met with Mr. Didier Guillaume, Minister for Agriculture and Food of France, talking about bilateral cooperation on electric certificate, French agri-food products exported to China and bilateral cooperation on epidemic control.

Minister Ni met with Mr. Ardanowski, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, talking about registration of Polish poultry enterprises in China, and the export of Polish beef, horse meat, fruits and other agri-food products to China.

Minister Ni met with Mr. Otazhonov, Vice Premier of Uzbekistan  and Mr. Arkashev, Director General of the State Quarantine Inspection of Uzbekistan. Both sides talked about Uzbekistan mung bean establishment registration, Uzbekistan cherry protocol, and the export of Uzbekistan melon, pomegranate, lemon, plum, grape, pimiento, garlic and honey. Ni and Otazhonov then witnessed the signing of the Agreement between GACC and the State Quarantine Inspection under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation on Plant Quarantine by Vice Minister Wang Lingjun and Director General Arkashev.
