The General Administration of Customs of China(GACC) hosted International Customs Day (ICD) 2020 Celebration and the Customs Attachés’ Club Annual Meeting in Beijing on 21st January, 2020. Mr. WANG Lingjun, Vice Minister of China Customs, attended the celebration and delivered a speech. Around 110 participants, including Customs Counselors, Agriculture Counselors and other representatives from 25 countries and representatives from the GACC, were present at the celebration moderated by Mr. ZHANG Baofen, Director General of International Cooperation Department, GACC. Mr. WANG Lingjun briefed about China Customs’ achievements in 2019 and put forward, based on the theme of ICD 2020 “Customs Fostering Sustainability for People, Prosperity and the Planet”, three international cooperation initiatives, which are to jointly explore efficient Customs control mechanisms, to jointly optimize cross-border business environment and to jointly promote global governance for national gateway security.
