How to Go through Import Transshipment Formalities?

For transshipment goods transferred between customs with bills of lading or waybills to be loaded on domestic means of transport, the consignor or its agent goes through import declaration formalities with the Customs at the designated destination, and the domestic carrier and the agent of means of transport go through customs transfer formalities in batches.

The agent of means of transport shall provide to the Customs at the place of entry:

1. Declaration Form for Imported Goods Transferred Between Customs of the People's Republic of China;

2. Notice on Transshipment of Imported Goods;

3. Paper manifest of goods under import transshipment listed by destination ports at the designated destination; and

4. Multimodal transport waybill for transshipment goods entering China by air.
