From June 17 to 19, Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu paid a visit to New Zealand.

Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu jointly hosted the 10th Meeting of the China-New Zealand Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Joint Management Committee (JMC) with Ms. Penny Nelson, Vice Minister for Primary Industries of New Zealand. Both sides reached consensus on future cooperation in key areas and signed the Minutes of the 10th SPS JMC Meeting and the Memorandum between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry for Primary Industries of New Zealand on the Export of Scallop Meat From China to New Zealand.

During his visit, Vice Minister Zou Zhiwu also held a discussion with officials from New Zealand Customs Service and exchanged in-depth views on topics including law enforcement cooperation, origin management, e-commerce, risk management and capacity building.
