On September 22, Mr. Yu Guangzhou, Minister of General Administration of Customs, met with Hermes Tang Yi-hoi, Commissioner of Customs and Excise Department of the Hong Kong SAR, in Beijing.

The two sides had an extensive exchange of views on a series of issues, including further engagement in the Belt and Road Initiative and promoting the building of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, implementation of key projects concerned by the Central Government and the Hong Kong SAR Government, deepening cooperation in trade security and law enforcement, and coordination of multilateral affairs. Both sides also had an in-depth discussion over issues such as Smart Anti-smuggling, cross-border e-commerce and the building of Single Window.
