On December 9, at 10 am, Huludao Customs House (affiliated to Shenyang Customs District), by cooperating with Capital International Airport Customs House(affiliated to Beijing Customs District), smoothly finished clearing an outbound batch of LTL (Less than Truckload) Airway Goods on cross-border e-commerce, which were 120,000 pieces of swimsuits, totally worth USD1.4 million, going to Germany and Spain.
Jointly created by Shenyang Customs and Beijing Customs, the clearance of LTL airway goods is China’s first outward customs-transit model for cross-border e-commerce. This model resort to registration in advance, logistics connection and centralized inspection to ensure cross-border goods can be fast released on arrival at the Customs.
Since one-year interconnection between “Huludao?Xingcheng” Swimsuit Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform and Cross-Border E-Commerce Retail Export Platform of the General Administration of Customs, e-commerce firms are increasing in both quantity and transaction in China, and “LTL airway” clearance model has reduced much logistic cost in cross-border e-commerce, giving stronger momentum to the export by e-commerce firms.
