On 19 May, Vice Minister Sun Yibiao attended the Joint World Customs Organization (WCO) and Universal Postal Union (UPU) Customs-Post Workshop and presented a keynote speech in its opening ceremony in Guangzhou.

Vice Minister Sun proposed to enhance the Customs-Post cooperation, promote the development of cross-border E-commerce and set up a liaison mechanism between the two sides.

Representatives from the WCO, UPU, and Customs administrations and postal departments of several nations attended the workshop.
