Shijiazhuang Customs Seizes 848 IPR-Infringing Children’s Bicycles

Recently, Shijiazhuang Customs intercepted 848 children’s bicycles in an export on the account of IPR infringement.
Through cargo inspection at Zhengding Customs House, the officers found those export bicycles accompanied by accessories that were similar to the “Minions” pattern, thus suspected of infringing the “Minions” movie copyright that’s been registered with China Customs by UNIVERSAL CITY STUDIOS LLC. Finally, the IPR owner confirmed the infringement and requested IPR enforcement.
Now, those children’s bicycles are detained under further investigation by the Customs.
