On June 23, Minister Yu Guangzhou participated the Third Summit Meeting of China, Russia and Mongolia in Tashkent, capital of the Uzbekistan, which was chaired by President Xi Jinping.
During the Summit Meeting, the three Heads of the state witnessed the signing of cooperation documents, including the Agreement on Customs Mutual Recognition of Specific Goods between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, Federal Customs Service of the Russia Federation, and the General Administration of Mongolia Customs and Taxation jointly signed by Minister Yu Guangzhou, Mr. Beliyaninov Andrey, Head of Federal Customs Service of Russia, and Mr. Surenjav Purev, Director General of Mongolian Customs and Taxation.
The Agreement explicitly aims at customs mutual support to the constructive linkage of strategies of the Silk Road Economic Belt, the Euro-Asia Economic Union, and the Grassland Road, so that necessary measures should be taken to expedite customs clearance and to promote trade development.
