On March 22, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen met in Beijing with Tiina Astola, Director General of the EU Justice and Consumers Department.

The two sides mutually informed their latest initiatives on product safety, exchanged views on the issues such as joint training, China-EU consumer-product safety cooperation, updating of cooperation documents, and RAPEX system cooperation, and also they reached consensuses on further cooperation.
